I love the peanut gallery at ESPN. They demand we trade players like Beltre to rebuild, so when I ask which specific prospects to target I get zero coherent responses back. If you want to rebuild, then shouldn't you have a cursory knowledge of the available market? Simply stating that "we aren't going to contend in 2015 anyway" is not a good enough reason to trade Adrian Beltre. Oh and then my favorite is the Jerry Jones comparisons. As if the Rangers are run anything like the Cowboys. If they were JD would have resigned every player for well over their value. But guys like Larry Carvell will continue to whine about them not being kept, so I ask again, how is that like Jerry Jones?

I just can't read what those morons write anymore.

If they listen to the JD interview it was very candid and made sense. He was not trying to put a positive spin on everything like JJ would. And as I stated earlier it is not so much rebuilding as evaluating what we have. As JD stated we do need some SP. He also acknowledged that some players have not lived up to what they hoped for. We have a nucleus if halfway healthy. But we cannot be ignorant and just say these certain players are automatically going to play this position and we hope they figure it out. And based on what JD said we will not. And you are right. Beltre is 99.9% off the table. He is our heart and soul right now.

I was still surprised to hear JD state that he felt like we looked like a team without a pulse when nothing was done about Kinsler's finger pointing after the HR. There is a lot that could go into a statement like that.

JD was also asked if ownership would put up more money to help fill the holes. He said the 135 mill was something they went to early to build a contending team. But he also mentioned that we need 2 SP. But to do that they would need to free up some money. Might EA be the most logical choice?

Send him to NY. They could afford him.

After Klein's mediocre 0.81 era at Frisco, being sarcastic of course, he has now pitched 8.2 innings giving up 5 hits and 0 runs with 8 holds with 15 k's and 3 walks at RR.

Come on American League! Win this sucker. It will help us ... oh ... never mind!
Glad you made it on time. Lets rally around the old AL.

That performance was so unnecessary. I would have rather listened to Bob mumble his way through that song.

I seriously hope the NL abuses the AL tonight. Adrian can do as well as possible, but hopefully Felix gets rocked.

I know you'll think I'm just saying this, but the A's predictably couldn't just smile and be normal, sans one
