Nope, by the numbers. It's Kinsler, can't have it both ways

By what Numbers? Cano Altuve and Kinsler are all 3 fWAR and Higher. Cano and Kinsler are tied with 3.5. Cano and Altuve both have a higher wRC+ and oWAR than Kinsler. So which exact numbers are you using? Homers and RBI? Good for you for using outdated data to be wrong about stuff.

I didn't like it then and I don't like it now. I don't like players getting special treatment because of their former great status. It's pathetic. All Stars should be selected on merit alone, but most voters are dumb and vote for their local team only.

:agree:.....I really don't have a problem with fans voting. My rub is to place emphasis on the game itself by letting it determine WS home-field-advantage, when the game really means squat; especially due to letting the fans vote.

I can remember being at a Rangers game way back when and Chuck Morgan encouraging the locals to vote for Mickey Rivers. Now that's a joke. But it happens.

hmmm, selective metric picking, how original Rev. Think you have me fooled?
Of course I'm not going by RBI's and homers. I know ALL of their numbers

anyway, good for Ian, and I like the little feller Altuve, so....
moving on

Let's go YU!

Yes....If it means something then fans shouldn't have much say. It's just disingenuous.

Refresh me on others in AL besides Donaldson and Beltre. Machado has not had the year he had last year. Who am I missing?
Machado is who I was thinking. I'm just prejudice in favor of Beltre over Donaldson.

Used both bWAR and fWAR. I am just curious how he's the far and away clear starter. It's too close to really pick someone and have it be a wrong choice.

But he had the chicken wing move after a catch.

Boo Bud Selig BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

And Bud says, "I wouldn't change a thing about my 30 years as commissioner." Now how full-of-crap is that? Over 30 years you would, me, Bud or God Almighty might just change a thing or two.

That dirty SOB...he looked the other way over steroids and then only got serious after congress got involved.

Selig has single handedly attempted to ruin baseball.
