Oh, it's going to be the hate Jeter show here?
You guys are ridiculous

be honest, why is Jeter in the All-Star game? it isn't because he's the best SS in the American League this season and that's what it is suppose to be about the best player(s) at each position playing. he is a hollow shell of what he use to be

It has gotten worse and worse with baseball analysts making something bigger than what it really is.
Reynolds also said Trout didn't really hit that ball hard...sure thing Harold...He just hit it to the worst spot in the yard for a RHH to take it deep. Jackass....

*eyeroll*

Can roll your eyes all you want. Jeter has no business in this game. Better players than him didn't make all star teams in their "final seasons." All bunch of a false humility.

@JeffWilson_FWST: Meanwhile, Yu Darvish has started to warm in the AL bullpen. He will follow Jon Lester.

Fuck Jeter. Seriously. Fuck him. Sick and tired of hearing about him. Has no business being in this game.

He certainly is a travesty as a starter. However, this is what happens when you let fans vote on the starters and allow cities to stuff the ballot box. This all the while putting the emphasis of World Series home-field-advantage for the victories league. Makes no sense.

Did you feel this strongly about Rivera last year? We both know that all things New York trumps the rest of America altogether. After all, is there really baseball beyond the pinstrips?

There's a lot of baseball after the pinstripes, ask Josh Hamilton

I didn't like it then and I don't like it now. I don't like players getting special treatment because of their former great status. It's pathetic. All Stars should be selected on merit alone, but most voters are dumb and vote for their local team only.

Then Kinsler should be starting

Never forget Mike Schmidt being voted in and he had retired early in the season. Not big on fans voting. Ichiro is a good player but the Asian community would stuff that vote to the point he was the top vote getter.

Cano Altuve and Kinsler all three are worthy. That situation is nothing like Jeter who isn't worthy to play everyday this year let alone start the ASG.

Nope, by the numbers. It's Kinsler, can't have it both ways

He definitely deserves to be in it. And it would be hard to argue against him being the starter if he was voted in as

Can't argue if any of those three are voted in. Some tough competition at 2nd.
