Hall Eberle and Dubnyk have all accepted invitations from Hockey Canada to go to World Championships.

I'm sure they will Boss as more guys confirm their invitations to their respective teams. I'm hearing that former Sabres and current Flames player Chris Butler has already been asked by USA hockey to play at the tourney.

Apparently Team Canada didn't make the cut on the list of teams Justin Schultz would consider playing for.

Nope, haven't really followed Swedish hockey that close. Prefer watching NHL hockey I've access to every NHL game, but no Elite League game.

I've watched a few of his games Dash.

Based on my limited viewings he seems like a Forsberg-lite. Great possession skills and sweet hands. He doesn't shy away from contact either. I'd be very happy to have him join my team.

There are a number of Isles fans on their fansite who think Nino's days as an Islander are numbered because of this decision. Guys like Brock Nelson & Ryan Strome are going to be a part of the playoff roster. They'll be watching from the pressbox.

Neither of them were going to be picked by Canada & USA respectively. The truth is Nino is getting an opportunity to play against quality competition, which is exactly what he needs if he's going to continue to improve.

It will be a great experience for Baertschi as well. Hopefully they beat all those Oilers on team Canada.:

I wouldn't mind seeing Hunter Shinkaruk get an invite for Team Canada, although the optics of getting snubbed for the World Junior team and then playing for Canada at the World Championship tourney aren't all that great.
