This game had trap right at the get go. Wtf did Lavi start Bryzy? Made no sense at all. Not surprised with the outcome. Get some rest and win these next few games at home. The fucking schedule is bullshit. Losing Read for 6 weeks sucks. One of the positives to come out of tonight's game, Voracek and G are clicking nicely. Harts will be back soon. Btw, why was Grossman going at it with enforcer Parros? We don't need more injuries. That's just foolish.

Yeah...tired team, turnovers, inability to put the puck in a wide open net = ugly loss for the Flyers.

ya i didn't expect that one to be close.. the flyers were either going to come out guns blazing and build a lead / break the panthers spirit, or the panthers would get on the board early and the flyers wouldn't have the gas to battle back

exactly what i thought was going to happen. i am all about letting bryz play4 out of 5 games but in back to back situations, let boosh get in there. there are 3 situations after this where its a back to back situation. that should have been the 4 games that boosh starts this year. lavy...come on man.

There's no way bryz shouldve played last night but i have to admit i didnt think of it until he was moving like a snail and it was already 2-0

Definately an ugly loss but i'm gonna chalk this one up to a back end of a crazy game the night before in which we stole two points on the road. we have a ton of home games we need to win out and we'll be in good shape.

So the Flyers play in Pit after an extended road trip while they sit and wait then get the luxury of playing at home for once but the next night for a rested team. Then the cats have to play the night after in Pit getting a tired team. Take a guess who has the best sched...fucking bastards make me sick. They also only have 7 back to backs all season Flyers have 10 I think someone said the wings have 12...how can there be that much of a difference? Typical pens BS....

I actually thought our boys played with a lot of energy considering it was a back to back and first game at home. I come away from the game feeling like Clemmensen used up 8 of his 9 lives worth of luck. The guy looked awkward and out of place all game long and yet still nearly managed to post a shutout against us. I know this is what he did to us while with the Devils, but his new team gives up way more goals, there's just no comparison. I come away feeling like we did enough offensively to score half a dozen on him and we only got two late goals...

With the way our offense has been motoring along the last three games, we should be (and have been minus this fluke of a game) posting a touchdown each and every game, especially against the Panthers. Everyone that needs to score is scoring and even Couturier is getting loads of chances. He probably should've buried a few of them by now. He is way, way overdue.

At the other end of the ice, I'll note that at least in this game, it seemed like every single mistake we made ended up in the back of our net. I just have to fault Bryz somewhat. I know he's facing several breakaways and that's a very difficult situation to deal with, but he could at least manage to stop one or two of them and keep his team in it. Instead, it's pretty much an automatic goal these days. Otherwise, he's doing fine. He's just a terrible one on one goalie, whether it's breakaways, shootouts or penalty shots.

Ya clem was very lucky no doubt and totally agree that Bryz is horrible on breakaways just not his thing unfortunately....otherwise he's been great just a little soft on Thur. He should have never have started I was surprised especially after that firewagon hockey game in pit.

Yep jets are playing good hockey so nice win. They needed it badly! Jake is making the carts trade very lopsided! All I can say is wow.

We got a win we needed. We are nominally in the playoffs if the season ended today, but every team but Buffalo could catch us with all the games in hand they all have. We got Hartnell back tonight and he was understandably not as good as he was last year considering it's his first night back, and we have Mez in a week or so. That'll get Gervais out of the lineup again, and will hopefully pull a little ice time from Coburn, who could use the rest (23 minutes per game and a -8 on the year).

Also it would be nice if at some point in the VERY NEAR FUTURE Giroux could pass Sestito on the goals per game rankings. (Sestito is actually 4th on the team in points per minute on the ice).
