GL in the series, 88. You guys have the best pitcher and one of the best hitters. Beyond that, you have a hell of a manager who knows how to play the REAL game (NL rules). You scare the heck out of me.

However, you guys have been playing scrimmages while we have been leaving blood and sweat on the field. If we can pull out a win in Game 1, watch out. If not, watch out in your direction.

It will be a hell of a series either way. I can't wait.

With Verlander going for the Tigers in game one I would be very surprised if they don't get the first W.

San Francisco is a great ball team and an even greater city. You have excellent fans and an excellent ball park. The only negative is Nancy "Lets Vote on It and Then Read " Pelosi.

Detroit needs this: 1968 helped heal the city after a devasting riot and 1984 rebounded the auto industry and over a decade of prosperity. 2012 hold more promise.

IMO, Detroit has to take game two to have a chance. SF is riding a hot streak like no other. The momentum has to be stopped.
