Cleveland had to do that trade. Do you know how bad it would have looked if they had a chance to trade up, didn't, and watched Tampa take Richardson at #3. It's better to be safe than sorry when you are convinced you have a superstar talent.

running backs are easy to find

if the Bucs are foolish enough to trade up for one then let them and draft Doug Martin or David Wilson in the 2nd round, while laughing because you got Kalil in the 1st round so you have a great line for whatever back you drafted to run behind.

The Bucs would have had to give up more as they had no 4th round pick and were further down by a spot. The Bucs were NOT going to trade up. It makes Zero Sense. Especially for a RB. Maybe if it was a Patrick Willis type LB but not a RB.

The Browns lost 3 picks, but they had 13. It was worth it for them, it wouldve been awful for them to watch someone trade up for TRichardson
