One really good thing about Tommy coming in this year is that Taylor is now going to have some legit competition from multiple QBs. I'm sure he knows this and will work his ass off this summer to do whatever he can to get better.

The lack of competition has killed us at several positions.

Well, no offense to Brion, but I see way more potential in Tommy. If he comes in and shows he's willing to learn that entire playbook, then I don't see any reason why Bo won't give him some consideration.

But yea any time a coach has a 3rd year starter returning at QB they are going to have a tough time deciding to throw a True Freshman in over him

I thought Tim Becks offense was supposed to be simplified and easier to catch on to...

Cam Newton came in 1st year in that system and won a fucking Heisman.

And I know.. That's cam newton, but he obviously had a good grasp of the system. That offense was extremely efficient.
