it's been a long 4 months but we survived

anyways figured i would start the injury thread again since we know how the wings love to to get hurt

Red Wings D Carlo Colaiacovo hurt shoulder during Spengler Cup. Expected 2-3 weeks, but Wings will know more after they've looked at him.

“He tweaked something working out,'' general manager Ken Holland said. “Doctors told him to take a few days off and they'll look at it on Monday. We'll see if he needs tests after that.''

Groin Injury Number 1 has arrived

Forward Mikael Samuelsson isn't skating today during the second day of Detroit Red Wings training camp due to a sore groin. It is a precautionary move. He is day-to-day.
