Saw a discussion on BBTF and I figured I'd make a poll to see what everyone thinks. Yankees and Dodgers are the winningest, but no titles to show for it (Yanks failed to make it to the WS). Red Sox had two rings (one of which is arguably one of the greatest World Series winners), but they also had three last place finishes and only four postseason appearances. Giants had the most titles of the decade, but went 821-799 for the decade, only had two seasons with 90+ wins and had four losing seasons. The Astros have been a powerhouse over the last three years, but they were pretty dreadful in the first half of the decade.

That's a tough one. They may not be the best overall team of the 2010s but the Giants are the "Team of the 2010s". It's hard to win 3 separate years in one decade and not win back to back. It takes a really good manager to do that. It seems like it would be tough to bounce back twice like that.

Giants have the most titles, so they get my vote, but they also missed the playoffs a lot of years.

Yankees were the most consistently good team, but they didn’t even play for a WS this decade, so can’t vote for them

can't argue with that. just a weird decade for baseball, albeit a fun one.

It's cool. We'll take solace in being the last "team of the century"

Meh. Talking about a championship that happened more than 5 years ago is pretty lame

Well, that's a pretty stupid outlook. Especially for a Braves fan.
We live in the present and are moving forward. Living in the past is just sad.

Right, why do we even have milestone stats...or MVPs....or Cy Youngs.....or the Hall of Fame?

Those idiots insist on living in the past. You should speak to them.

Recognize, but never bring up long ago championships as a means to claim superiority. Shit stinks and it’s pretty pathetic tbh
