At Myrtle Beach he was leading the Carolina league with 33 doubles. It is a tough place to hit HRs. So you knew he had some power based on that. But that same year he was called up to Frisco and had 8 2b, 2 3b and 6 HRs in 30 games. So you knew it was there and he was very raw and young when called up the next year.

Other stats I hate is when a guy comes in and has a line like 0.1 IP - 2 H - 1BB and leaves with the bases loaded and 2 of his guys on base score and he gets a hold. Next pitcher who got the last 2 outs coming into a bases loaded situation gets a blown save because those inherited runners scored.
