2 TE Draft Potential

I would not be opposed to drafting 2 TE's in this draft. RR seems to like 2 TE sets and it looks like we will pick up an additional 3rd or 4th rounder (possibly more) for Trent.

Hear me out please. After Young, we need to improve pieces around Haskins. "If" we can pick up an additional 3rd rounder for Trent, I would like Hopkins out of Purdue and also select Parkinson in the 4th. I believe OT Charles can be had with our remaining 4th rounder. We can also find a quality WR in the later rounds. This offense needs some work and adding both TE's would be a good start.

There should be better WR options with the first 3rd round pick. I like your Parkinson selection. I think we could get Young, Edwards WRSC, TrautmanTE, Charles, and Parkinson. Do you like that mock better?

I have no problem selecting two TEs or two OTs in this draft...if they are BPA.

I would have no problem with Trautman but wanting to draft 2 TE's would certainly transform our offense. Difficult to defend the likes of Ertz & Goedert.

All this TE talk going around I thought this thread would gardner more discussion. Howard and Brate should be frustrated that Brady was in town 5 minutes and brought Gronk in.

a 4th for OJ would be ok with me . i dont want to give up that 3rd because i feel our starting LT (charles ?) is sitting there and offers more value

4th round is ok for TE but i am all for going heavy for OT in this draft , at least 2 if not 3 ( i know overkill )

I guess I could have been more clear, NOT trading for Howard straight up. Deal includes Trent for Howard and you give me a 4th! GK says no less than a 3rd however that likely won't happen with a player involved.

"If" we can complete the trade for Howard that includes Trent, it will afford us an extra 4th hopefully. I do not trust any TE's on our current roster so Howard plus a 3rd or 4th round TE draft pick plus whomever you want to keep out of Hentges, Thomas, Rogers and Sprinkle.
