Yeah.....you ain't getting that in the Bay area.....or for anything in Seattle for that matter.

You can't rent a shack in the bay area for $1,500 a month. @LAD must have got in before the housing market rebounded.

Hell, I think a shack in the bay area goes for about $3k per month now. I remember interviewing with Linkedin last year and the salary for the job I was going for was about $150-$160k. I thought that would be one hell of a pay raise (I was making about $70k in San Antonio at the time), until I looked at housing/apartment prices.

Yeah OKC isn't winning this series.

I'm still sticking to my prediction of Spurs in five (Spurs take games one and two, split the two games at OKC and win game five at home).

Yeah it's really ridiculous. I grew up in San Francisco but I moved just outside the city a few years ago and don't realistically see being able to move back into the city any time soon.

Even the surrounding areas in the Bay Area have had a tremendous increase in housing prices. You can't even buy a property in the hood without having a 200K household income. That's insane.

The gentrification is real.

I figured 6 games would be the furthest this series would go. 5 games sounds about right though.

I have a 3 bd, 2 1/2 bath in Sac- been here about 5 years now. But am currently looking to move back to the East Bay in the next few months due to work. I know I won't find the same thing for the same price-which is why I'm looking through foreclosures first.

Oh no, I would NEVER move back to SF. Not only is it extremely expensive but the weather sucks because I like warm weather.

Sac has a pretty reasonable housing market. Yeah you'd be lucky to pay triple what you're paying now right now for the same thing near the city.

Which is why the closest I will go to SF is Fairfield-maybe El Sobrante if I can find something reasonable there. If not, I will be further East like Pittsburg-Antioch.
