Picked up a night job about 5 weeks ago.....working fucking 65 hours a week.

Called in sick to the night job today.....had food poisoning this weekend and that's the story and I'm sticking to it.

LOL on sticking to your story.

But, I've been where you are. When my son was really little I had to work two jobs at one time to sustain my lifestyle. I completely understand and tip my hat to ya.

Nice. I may be hitting you up regarding nice places to live in Dallas (so far I'm eyeing Plano). I love Seattle, but holy shit is the price of living sky rocketing. Only place I've seen where the asking price for a house far exceeds the sell price.
Seattle? My goodness how does that much rain not depress you?

Yeah, I'm just slightly over 6-figures, yet I live in a luxury studio apartment which comes out to about $1500 per month. Couple that with a $500 per month car payment plus a 9.8% sales tax, I feel broke. Thankfully the company I work for has an office in Dallas and Austin.
Good lord, $500 car payment??? Both of my cars together aren't that much. I make 6-figures in my job- my honey has his own custom painting business and our mortgage is $1500 and we live pretty good in CA.

The exact payment is $465, I pay $500 to try and stay ahead. The car was around $24-$26k. I also go out to eat quite a bit which adds up.

The rain's not too bad. It's very beautiful here. It rains more in the Fall/Winter. It's been clear skies and sunny the last month or two.

I'm really hoping the Thunder get their shit together and at least take this to 6 or 7 games. They played so terrible last game, I would expect a much better showing tonight.

Worst case scenario is a sweep for the Spurs. But that may come with a silver lining if Durant see's the value of having a quality system and team to support him ahem*Warriors*ahem.

Donovan said he was making lineup changes tonight. He realizes that they cannot make it so easy for Parker to hide on Roberson. I am guessing this means Waiters will start.

Time will tell how much impact this change has, but my guess is that we will see a much more competitive Thunder team tonight. The matchups were very much in SA's favor with Roberson in there.

Yeah Roberson has no real value in this series, because there's not a dynamic guard/wing player for him to guard. Kawhi and Durant are going to be matched up. You don't need Roberson to guard Danny Green and RW can keep up with Tony Parker. I wouldn't be surprised if Roberson got the hook for the entire series.

I just borrow cars from friends and keep them until they demand them back or I've had them so long that we both think it's my car. :heh:

I'm thinking about moving to that area as well (Arlington or Denton area but right now, I live close to DC) if I could find a decent enough paying job.
