Out of curiosity... Where did the orange crush nickname come from? And why do people use it to refer to the Ducks as well?

This should be a very interesting series for sure. The Sabres finished the regular season as the hottest team in the NHL, while the Flyers were less than spectacular in their final 10 games of the season.

Both teams can score, so goaltending and defense will be very important in this series. While the Sabres have the edge in goaltending, the Flyers are a much more physical team than the Sabres, and I don't know how the Sabres will handle that in a 7 game series? The Sabres are smaller, less physical, and still make way too many mistakes that cost them.

While I believe the Sabres have a chance of winning this series, I think the Flyers prove to be too much and win it 4-2.

Should be one hell of a series however.

My guess is because the Flyers wear Orange and crush people...IDK!

Never heard of the Ducks being called that!

Better question.......Why do the Caps say rock the red(so gay) there are like 12 NHL teams that wear red!

I finally remembered what I was going to post.

Flyers will have had Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday off before Game 1. I think we know who's taking a 1-0 series lead.

Of all the seasons to not wish for a series against Pittsburgh, this one seems to be ripe for the picking. Definitely no Geno..., no more Sykora or Guerin... and who knows about Sid. In post-seasons to come, I'm hoping that we won't see another year of both geno and sid absent for the playoffs.

Using white is retarded. Hey, everyone! I have a great idea. Wear a plain white Hanes tshirt to the next game! That would be awesome!!! Or not. It'd make more sense to wear a different color. However, like some one said, there isn't really very many good choices for the Pens. Vomit gold isn't a good color either.

Call it what you want. I think your Pittsburgh hate clouds your logic on this one, though.

When I was living in the city during the 08-09 playoffs, I would just wear the road jersey to the two playoff games I made it to.
