Jokic is the only player/coach that basically said the better team won. All the other players seemed to make excuses and what Malone did was ridiculous. We get it, it was a tough loss but every coach has to do it. Poor loser. Jokic, the leader of the team, gets a lot of respect from his comments.

Did hear Legs say this was out of character for Malone and would be shocked if he did not apologize for his comments. Not excusing him as also said his comments were uncalled for.

I can always appreciate seeing someone credit a team for winning as opposed to thinking someone needs to be blamed for losing.

Well Malone was showboating last year so it really doesn't seem out of character too much. The guy seems like an asshole. He loses and he can't give credit to the other team...not a little credit.

And he took the burden of the loss. But he also had a very good series vs Lakers to help get them to round two. What I appreciated most about MPJ this year - as inconsistent as he was scoring - he was much improved with rebounding and defense and would bring that to games when his shot was off.
