What a big time win for Minny.

Denver got up big then proceeded to play lazy basketball for almost the entire second half. No defense, no rebounding and not taking care of the ball. Meanwhile the wolves never gave up, they battled to a lead and from there, never took their foot off the gas.

Wolves are an exciting team. I’m hoping you guys can whoop Dallas and win a title.

Good game, good series and good luck!

Porter had 41 total points in games 1 & 3 while just having 34 points in the other 5 games
Do you think everything going on around him off the court with practically his entire finally got to him?

He didn’t play like this in the Lakers series.

The Wolves don’t switch very often and don’t double much at all.

It took a game 5 loss and seeing Rudy get the shit kicked out of him before they sent a double towards the best player in the game.

They aren’t going to leave a shooter like Porter get open shots.

A team like the Laker get put in rotation almost every time down the court and will switch even the laziest screen (which is why they have to help so much). It really is the two competing defensive philosophies. And it really does get to the heart of the Rudy trade and the odd Towns-Gobert pairing.

How it translates to the next series: Don’t expect to see PJ Washington to go for 20+ like he did against OKC. Wolves won’t leave shooters like that. Whereas teams like the Lakers and OKC allow opposing team to take 5-7 more 3 pointers each game than a team like the Wolves will.

KCP played 40 minutes tonight. That's the game right there.

I'm out for awhile... It's been a fun ride. :thumb:

Did anyone else think it was a little weird that Denver just gave up with like 20 to 25ish seconds left? I mean, yeah, there's still a 99% chance they lose but I expected them to at least play the foul game a little bit. And sometimes crazy shit does happen. Even if you've got little chance, its still a chance. And its game 7. Might as well throw everything out there.

This Jokic era Nuggets teams has never beaten a 50 win team in the playoffs.

They are 5-0 versus seeds lower than 5
They are 1-5 versus seeds higher than 5....one win was a 49 win bubble team

They are a strangely consistent bunch in the usually chaotic NBA playoffs.
They don't get tripped up by bad teams,
They also cannot beat any good teams
Clearly Jokic is a top 5 all time player

Dude holy fuck.

I’m not sure what you can’t grasp about this. But the wolves were not supposed to be in the WCF. This is not their window to win.

Or the thunder.

You can keep debating but you just look fucking dumber every time.

Memphis haha.
And yet look at em now! I love when champs don’t repeat (unless it’s my team)

Playoff experience, as simple as that. All the wolves players are gonna delve on this and dedicate themselves to not letting it happen next year.
Or….. LOL

Right, I’m posting actual articles from people who are paid to do this and you’re going off your “feelings” that they weren’t supposed to be here.

Yeah I’m the one who looks fucking dumb.

And when did I bring up OKC? They took a jump no one saw coming this year, the Wolves who were well respected last year and only lost 4-1 in the first round because they didn’t have some of their star players we’re expected to be even better this year.
Looks like that article was onto something
