Bad Shots = Blown Leads

The Timberwolves are notorious for shooting themselves out of leads with almost coach fireable levels of bad decision.

They somehow did it TWICE in one game.

Up 20 plus and with a talented 5 they ran virtually no half court offense to speak of. It was run down the court make one pass and hoist a 3. How Finch didn't stop that before it got as far as it did is incredible.

A tale of 2 halves might sound like a cliché....but that's exactly what this game 3 was.
Memphis seemed disinterested for the 1st 24 min...then woke up and just flat out wanted it more, and took over when it mattered.

I guess James Harden is his idol
Harden has been pretty good. He’s not Harden anymore but he’s been really solid and that’s what they need.

I’m talking about his past of disappearing in playoff games obviously

Who's to blame more for the timberwolves historic collapse, the players or the coaching staff?

Likely a little of both, but moreso on the players. We don't know what adjustments the coaching staff tried to make that either didn't work, or the players didn't execute.

They're a young team that got 2 huge leads at home and blew them both because they decided the game was over. It happens...not usually twice in the same game, but it happens.

If they learn from it, it could end up being a positive for them.
