1. the camera of the fans acting like idiots saying their team is number one (painted faces/shirts off/etc

2. players holding up 4 fingers when time runs out at the end of the 3rd quarter

maybe im just a crabass.

The 4 finger thing is the stupidest. Makes them all look retarded.

For #1, what else are you going to when the camera is on you? just wave hello? not cheer? In my mind, it's a way of saying 'we're #1 in this stadium today' not the whole country, because, most likely, you're not even close to that.

My old high school has been doing the four fingered thing since the 1950's. As in,"the 4th quarter belongs to the Lions". I was surprised when I went to a game a couple of years ago and they are still doing it. However they are getting their ass handed to them a lot lately in the 4th qtr as well as the first three so maybe it is sort of lame.

1. Too many TV timeouts. Offense took a timeout, break for TV. Next play they score, but its reviewed, timeout. XP is good, timeout. Kickoff goes for touchback, timeout. The bigger the game, the worse it gets.
