This has been a great series for our youngsters to learn how to play playoff hockey.

Agreed, the youngsters are seeing the intensity change from regular to playoff hockey, I'm thinking the Wings future is looking pretty good.

My hopes were to see the playoff streak continue, now I'm starting to think we could see an upset in this series...go wings!!

Momentum from this game will be huge for the rookies, me thinks.

As always, the risk of watching a replay of a win may subconsciously lead one to believe their team has taken a lead in the series.

Detroit fans, please help me understand:

I know Ian White has seemingly been in Babcock's doghouse for months (the whole season?) but I don't get it... why would you play some of these young/inexperienced dudes nobody's ever heard of and continue to sit White?

He couldn't have possibly been THAT bad out there?

Just trying to figure out what the story is...

Anyone?

Unfortunately Babs will prolly chalk it up to playoff inexperience and say he will only improve and leave him in the line up. There were a couple red wings defenders who had a terrible game tonight... It's sad to say, but Dekeyser made a huge impact on our D.

Thanks... yeah, I liked Dekeyser a lot from the little I saw of him this season and no beef with him being in there.

Also, who the hell am I to question Babcock... he must know what he's doing.. hah!

Just strange that White was such a bust there.

I'd take him back on the Sharks in a heartbeat (in a limited role) so I'm a little biased but anyway...

white was great last year when he was paired with lidstrom.

he struggled early on this season and once he got scratched for the first time, his attitude went south and he's been in the doghouse ever since.

in my opinion, i think babcock is severely overrating lashoff. i would much rather have a guy like white in the lineup because he can move the puck so much better and has playoff experience, something that the wings blueline is lacking this year.
