Congratulations to the Red Wings & their fans. They had the better goalie tonight. They also played a better game. The Wings certainly make things interesting late in games though. Need to clear that up against the Blackhawks. Best of Luck in Round 2.

I wonder if Corey Perry is going to have nightmares about all his missed opportunities in this series?:

very impressed with the wings. i think with all the lidstrom retiring SportsHoopla, it's easy to forget that zetterberg and datsyuk are two of the best.

Like I had been saying... the Ducks were a fraud* all along (not to take anything away from Detroit's accomplishment in the series but just sayin'...)

*= 23-3-4 to open the season, 8-9-2 to end the season, one stretch was an anomaly. And yes, I know it's not a half/half split.

Cory Perry not scoring a single goal in the series is also an anomaly. The advanced stats said the Ducks shooting percentage was a tad too high, but that regression is absurd.
