Good to see Crawford going well out of the gate. I see he started a DP as well. Him getting back to form would bode very well for us, on several levels.

Winn is on my radar, but he wasn’t prominent on my radar.

Until today…

Baggs was on M&M this AM and he was saying that Winn is getting the whispers around camp that he may be comparable to Harrison.

I haven’t really paid attention to him much to this point, so this is all news to me. Anyone know anything particular about him?

He is one of the (if not the) top bully prospect in the Gs system. He gained major helium last season and is expected to be a real contributor at some point this season.

4th rounder from 2020...pitched as a 23 yo in Sacto last year...suppresses HRs...good K/BB ratio.

Ranked about #15 in the system, right behind Szapucki

Sam Delaplane recorded 2 strikeouts in a scoreless outing. He has missed a lot of time due to injury but he had a pretty impressive fastball-slider mix in the minors. Could be an option at some point if he can stay on the field. He has tallied just 3.2 innings since the start of 2020, but you have to be patient with a guy who has a 15.3 K/9 as a pro.
