The 76ers are still a decent team, and a hard nosed team... they're not gonna die easy.sixers played better than I expected.
We could not hit a three
A few dynasties have started with a coaching change. Warriors too.
But the Sixers are too late. They needed to rewind to the Fultz draft and take a redo with every move they made.
At that time, they had Embiid, Simmons, Covington, the #1 pick and a ton of cap space.
They really screwed this thing up.

You can tell a guy like Richardson has pride.
Lots of great trades in Celtics history.
As good as Tatum is, I am not sure it ranks top 5.
This might be a minority opinion but if the decision came down to picking either Simmons or Embiid and trading the other I'm picking Simmons all the time to keep
And I love Embiid but he just doesn't pay with enough heart consistently
Also Simmons brings more to the floor than Embiid - intangibles, defense, playmaking, etc.
Focusing on Simmons' lack of 3 point shot is narrow minded
Now this opinion can change if Embiid actually took basketball seriously instead of talking about taking it seriously and playing small too many times

Also because we passed on Tatum, it made us trade for Harris, while giving up a really nice piece in Shamet. And we traded Mikal Bridges for Zhaire Smith in 2018 who's played a grand total of 13 career games. And traded for 40 games of Butler, and used the $$ on signing Horford, who now sucks.
We could have had Embiid, Covington, Tatum, Simmons, Shamet, Bridges, Saric, and Shake as the main 8 guys, just off drafting alone. Leave it to Colangelo and Brown to fuck it up though.
You want to sprinkle in some Kristaps Porzingas for Jah Okafor? And then how about Furkan Korkmaz for Pascal Siakam? Or are you sick enough?
If we take Porzingas though, we don't get Simmons more than likely the following year. At least with Okafor, we sucked enough to land Simmons and then with him being out we were in position to have the #1 pick in 2017(albeit trading up). 2017 and 2018 were the huge swing and misses IMO.
In 3 more Celtics winsWhen do you stop trusting the process?
When do you stop trusting the process?
Honestly that was the problem.
When they fired Hinkie and hired Colangelo. Had they “trusted the process”, things would have gone a lot better.
Colangelo was predictably bad. He made a ton of short sighted moves. They should have been thinking big. Building culture and using the cap space to sign another star.
Instead they whiffed on Fultz and gave up a ton of assets to make a bunch of trades that didn’t really work.
Ironically, they stuck with an overmatched Brett Brown throughout it all.
Sorry, but winning 50 games with that roster is not an achievement.
Lastly, the process worked. It netted them 2 young stars and an obscene amount of assets to build around them. They just squandered it.
