Going with Boston in 7.
Who on Boston can guard embiid?
Who on Boston can guard embiid?
Who on Boston can guard embiid?
Taking the Celtics in 6, maybe 5.
No Simmons and I don't trust Embiid to step up enough.
Robert Williams. You may see Brad Stevens send him out to beat the shit out of Embiid and make him quit. he's really come forward in the bubble. With 15 man rosters, once Embiid is on the bench the Celts will send in 7'7" Taco fall and the be like Red lighting a cigar.
Celtics in 6.
Remember, games will be played every other day. This series starts Monday 8/17.
Wednesday 8/19, Friday 8/21, Sunday 8/23, Tuesday 8/25, Thursday 8/27 and Saturday 8/29.
No three or four days rest between games and all are a neutral court. Celtics were 1-3 against Philly during the season.
Robert Williams is trash.
Your opinion. At least he can stay on the court, not like some other guys named Simmons.
No Simmons hurts the Sixers to the point where they are likely only going to win a single round. But Boston is the best matchup for them. Simmons was actually a liability vs Boston. They were able to layer the lane against Simmons and dare him to shoot. He was a non factor vs Boston. Embiid has always been a problem for the Celtics and this season they’re even worse at the 5. The Cs would give the Sixers issues with their wings with guys like Marco Belinelli and JJ redick getting isolated and victimized. The Sixers wing defenders are much more athletic now.
The biggest question is the psyche of Joel Embiid. Since the Simmons injury he has seemed like he is just going through the motions. If he continues that way, Cs in 5. If the real Joel Embiid shows up its Sixers in 6.
Celtics in 6
But rooting for Philly
