Congrats on the series win

I guess the odds are good for a series win but crazy shit can happen. It is nice to see after the disapointment from last year. I wonder how much playing in the bubble made a difference?

I mean Milwaukee added ton of key pieces while Miami roster didnt improve and crucial players took a step back ( Dragic and Herro)

Milwaukee is the 2011 Mavericks.

It just feels that way....

They are going to make a deep run, just when everyone sort of forgot about them after many playoff fizzles.

Yea that Herro really pissed me off last year being a local kid beating his local team when he growing up :suds:

Ariza and Iguadala need to be taken out back behind the shed and put down. 8 points in just under 80 minutes for Ariza.

This Milwaukee team is motivated, athletic, long and aggressive.

Miami looks overmatched and outgunned.

This series is over. Do you think that Milwaukee's motivated, athletic, aggressive length has any shot vs the Nets in round 2?

Personally I think that one will go 6-7 and could go either way. Beating Milwaukee involves a good defensive plan vs Giannis and the Nets don't do defense. But the Nets can outscore anyone. So very hard to pick

Milwaukee just better.

Last year Milwaukee was probably better on paper but didn't have the role players built for the playoffs. Swapping out Bledsoe for Jrue then those role players they brought in made them better along with Miami doing the opposite.

Miami did this to themselves though. So many terrible losses throughout the season. Win 1 of those games and they're in the 4/5.

Losing to the Hawks and Clippers without their top guys led to this then you have the losses to Minnesota and Chicago late in the year when you couldn't afford to lose to any crappy teams.

Too soon to say last season was a fluke for the Heat?

Then so was the Celtics and Nuggets.

Just because a team do not make the same run they made in the previous season does not make them a fluke. This was still a good team but they just happened to run into a team that not only wanted revenge but is also better.

"We get 1 do-over, right?" -Pat Riley

People really need to stop with this BS narrative. Tyler Herro isn't what stopped them from getting Harden.....Miami not willing to trade draft picks is what did

Well, still looks like maybe they should have done it.

Especially if Brooklyn becomes the dominant super team in the East.

Miami could have potentially elevated themselves to that level while blocking Brooklyn.
