They are just lost offensively without his gravity. And that’s unacceptable really because they played so much ball without him this year. I blame Tobias Harris, Buddy Hield, and Maxey for the way that offense looked. Buddy Hield was brought in to shoot 3s. He took 1 three yesterday.

Sixers gave up 23 offensive rebounds yesterday and already cited the non Embiid minutes.

The Sixers can lose these two matchups. They can lose ground in non-Embiid minutes. They can lose on the defensive glass to an athletic and tough squad. They just can’t get murdered in those metrics.

This is why I called all year for Nurse to fuck around with BBall Paul playing the 4 next to Embiid. The Sixers have struggled to rebound all year. The other answer would be Ricky Council IV. Tobias Harris didn’t earn 31 minutes yesterday. They really could have used Melton yesterday as well.

All of this means nothing though if Embiid woke up today and the knee was really sore and swollen.

Philly has just never put enough talent around Embiid.

I have not looked at the salary situation but I know Harris is a UFA after the season. If Maxey has not gotten a huge pay-day yet (i dont think he has) they will have to have a decent amount of room to make some moves. Maxey is not a legit 2- and Harris is not a legit 3.

Sixers will have basically like 70m in salary on the books (including maxey cap hold) and maybe more like 84 if you include empty roster spot holds
