The next game isn’t until Thursday. This is one of the more high profile series. People will be talking about the one sided whistle in this series and it will change in Philly. It will even out. New York sucked though. They went long stretches without being able to make field goals but with the offensive rebounding (credit to Knicks; Sixers have to own this) and the grifting of Jay Wright fags and officials rewarding it Sixers played well enough to be 1-1 going home. Oh well. Shit ain’t easy. At the same time, there’s nothing about this Knicks team that tells me Sixers can’t beat them 4 out of 5 times.

If true then this is unacceptable from the refs. How do you not grant a timeout being call before the ball was inbounded and people wonder why I hate refs.

He wasn’t calling the timeout. He tried WAY too late. He sat there and watched the inbound hoping they could sneak it in and didn’t start to truly call for a timeout until Maxey got tackled.
