I just came across this on youtube.....the entire game.

This was the biggest sham of all time in all of sports history. What a great game that didn't end the way it was supposed to.

I think Oklahoma @ Oregon was a bigger sham, but not by much.

OU/Oregon had instant replay where this game didn't.

Instant replay would likely have reversed FSU's fumble at the goal line where it appears they were wrongly awarded a TD. The ball was clearly out before he crossed the plane, but it's a tough call in live action so I don't falt the refs so much since they didn't have the ability to review.

To add to that, nobody (including the announcers) could find the clip that nullified Nebraska's kick return for a TD. Replay would not have reversed that call tho.

Oklahoma @ Oregon was home cooking all the way.

Bobby Bowden is on record saying FSU got beat and that the best team doesn't always win.

I wouldn't trade the N/C's Nebraska won in 94,95 & 97 for this one.

Huskers were at least a 17 pt Vegas underdog in this game and surprised many by playing a good game. I knew quite a few people (Husker fans) that bet FSU to cover that spread.

It's still sucks bc Nebraska could have won 93-95and 97

And I still think the 96 team would have won if they didn't slip to tejas

The better team than FSU was an undefeated WVU, but the pollsters were sucking on ole Bobby's cock!

I don't want to see the BS comment, but WVU got blasted by Florida in the bowl game. I would imagine they were very much down and uninspired after getting fucked out of a chance to play Nebraska for the NC.
