Okay I held my tongue for 2 minutes but here is why I didn't like the trade. WLK gave up 3-9th round picks to Smitty for Keith Hernandez then he traded Hernandez to you for McDowell who you took in the 12th round.

Keith Hernandez has 8 MVP's and McDowell only has 2 MVP's. WLK made a mistake when accepting the trade and thought he was getting a different player. That part aside, he accepted the trade, Nos approved the trade and there for the trade stands. I am just saying I am not a fan of the trade. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and we all know I have made lopsided trades that got approved so I am in no position to point fingers.

Now lets move on and make some more trades. I have 2x MVP and 6x All Star 2nd Baseman Willie Randolph for sale for a SP?

While I agree UK easily got the better end of the deal, as I have said before we are not here to protect people from making mistakes. I don't understand what the 8 MVP's you listed for Hernandez means but he was a 5X All Star and won a shit load of Gold Gloves. McDowell was a very good starting pitcher for about a 5 year run in the early 90's. I mean no offense to anyone but if you don't wanna get messed over in trades don't make so many. No offense WLK you know this ain't directed towards you I am just explaining why we don't protect people from making bad trades.

The only time I will VETO a trade is if it's over the top stupid. Like Barry Bonds for Jamie Moyer or something completely one sided. You know the trades that Ritz offers us...

Exactly You have to give something to get something. I have no idea what Ritzs means about 8 MVP's lol. Henandez was a one time MVP. McDowell was a one time Cy Young. Since we are dealing with players in their prime, I wouldn't have given up McDowell for ANYTHING less. Not a chance
