I made the offer because I have Will Clark... I'm going off what I read so if this gets over ruled I understand but I'm getting a Cy Young for a guy I can replace... I need pitching IMO....

You know Wlk that if you do a trade in the first round you don't have to do one each and every round following it.

One who makes many mistakes only has the trades to try and fix them... My only moveable parts were Hernandez and Clark... I like Clarks .384 career OBP more so I offered Hernandez... Like I said, I'm learning so if it's outrageous I understand an over rule, if it's just frowned upon I like the move...

I agree... If you guys feel I'm tipping the balance towards anybody by all means overrule and call me a dumbass... But if it only hurts my team then let me sink... I felt this helped my rotation since I have only 1 starter... I've got 2 players I'm aiming at now that will (at least IMO) justify moving a guy whom while great, I think can be replaced... The true mistake was trading my 3 9s to get Hernandez... I should have stayed pat and grabbed 3 pitchers in the 9th...

Personally, I think it's a fair trade. I could have found a decent hitting first baseman and kept the CY pitcher as a #4. In his prime, McDowell was an ace. I guarantee you in the real world, the Sox wouldn't have settled for much less
