First time since my son was born 2.5yrs ago that I am getting to watch early morning cartoons with him like I did when I was kid. Tom & Jerry are on now. Its a little violent but I grew up just.......shit I will turn it off now.

I will never forget, when my little boy was 2 and we were told that he was going to have open heart surgery, I never realized what a treasure it was to watch Tom and Jerry with him until that moment. It's a gift from God my friend.

Handing my son over to the surgeon was the hardest thing I have ever done. Of course heart surgery is clearly more serious but surgery on your kid no matter what it is just plain scary.

I don't know if it were more scary Buddy, I'm sure you felt about the same. I remember one day driving along and realizing I was turned sideways and sitting in the middle of a highway because I was crying to hard to see the road. It is humbling to know you aren't quite as tough as you thought you were. That is the thing about the thread that guy Jak had. Without the Lord in my life, I honestly don't know how I would have made it through that
