Norv, affectionately known as Nerv amongst San Diego fans, always looked like he had shit while on the sidelines. Then after halftime, he looked like he shit and then the Chargers would begin to put up points. He got rid of Drew Brees for Phil-lip!!! Dumb ass!!

I saw the 30 for 30 and his dad never had anything nice to say about his son. Always pointed out everything wrong he did and wasn't capable of acknowledging his success. Said his son didn't deserve the Heisman.

Nicky Saben @ Miami...quiter

Then went to Bama and cheated by over recruiting and then cutting good players that had to sit out a year where they could of helped out another D-1 school that same year.

That was all AJ. Can't blame Norv for everything. I was equally happy about AJ Smith's firing as I was Norvs.

Norv isn't have the coach Marty was.

Yeah, well, if Ron doesn't get it done this season, he'll be available shortly thereafter.

Bears are on a new regime with a GM (Emery) that made the KC Chiefs so great and a coach (Trestman) that was a CFL wizard.

Which equals a train wreck coming.

And you think that makes him one of the biggest scum bags of all time?

Barry's father raised the single most respectful & humble person who ever played in the NFL. Scum bags don't do that. He was a disciplinarian with extremely high standards & was very critical. That isn't in and of itself a bad thing. So he thought Jim Brown was better & Barry didn't deserve the Heisman that season. So what? It's not like he thought Barry was terrible. He did say something nice about Barry: he thought Barry was the 2nd best RB of all time. That's just being objective. I have a ton of respect for a person who can objectively call something how it is. Especially when it comes to his own son! (although a case could be made for Barry over Jim Brown).

Barry himself says that he's not as good of a father as his dad was. With all due respect, I'll take his opinion over yours.

Wasn't that A Football Life? And if Barry Sanders himself recognizes what his dad was doing and loves his dad... you shouldn't be calling him a scumbag.

Maybe you should watch it again?

It's almost impossible to dislike that guy (unless he's playing against your team). Barry is everything you could possibly want in a football player both in terms of his play and how he conducts himself.

I'm an NFC Norte guy and have always loved the Daytwah Lions in the Wayne Fonte era. Good coach who got the best outta what he had. Blame the Lions fall after him on management because with Fonte in there the Lions were always dangerous, especially on Thanksgiving Day.

Fonte doesn't deserve a top "bad" coach in the NFL.

I think the highlighted guys should be dropped of the list for the simple fact they were one year guys! They didnt get to/or stick around to prove they could run a professional team...

I'd keep Petrino on the list for quitting in the middle of the season and not having the balls to tell his team face-to-face.

Sure, he pretty much made sure he sank his career further by lying about his little coed girlfriend...

I think Josh McDaniels deserves a spot on this list. 11-17 record, loser of 17 of his final 22 games coached. Coached the Broncos to their worst loss ever against the Raiders, and worst loss overall since 1963, and then he brought a video taping mess on the Broncos that resulted in a fine for him and the team.

Seriously, he was awful.

Have to disagree. He wasn't any good, but I don't think he's anywhere near as bad as these dumpster fires. As a Niners fan, I'd take Josh McDaniels over full-of-crap Mike Nolan or whip-his-junk-out Mike Singletary.

Norv Turner had some of the most talented NFL rosters you will ever see and did jack shit with them.

A good OC, terrible HC, I was sorry to see him leave SD.

I have no idea how Steve Spagnuolo isn't on this list. You can't even say he is a good d-coordinator because of the historically bad Saints D last year.

Mike Singletary should be on this list, too
