16 Top 25 Teams In Action Friday Night

Of course for me, the standout game is Syracuse vs Northern Iowa. Not only because Syracuse is my team but because both of these teams won 30 games last season.

Last season in the NCAA Tourney, Norther Iowa knocked off UNLV and #1 seed Kansas before losing to Michigan State in the Sweet 16. They bring back 2 starters and 8 others from last year.

This game makes me a little nervous but after looking at NI's roster, I couldn't find a single player who averages more than 10 PPG, which gives me some comfort.

Also, let's see how #20 Tennessee plays after their loss to DII Indianapolis.

Look for Seton Hall's Jeremy Hazell to light up #22 Temple.

Georgetown @ Old Dominion(Old Dominion is a tournament team, could they grab a quality win?)

Campbell vs Vt(any team with such an awesome name as the fighting Camels is a threat)

IPFW vs SIU-Edwardsville(NC favorites on the road how will it go?)

Pepperdine vs Portland State(I just wanted to post Pepperdine)

Tennessee should beat Chattanooga but I wouldn't be surprised if they hung around for a while. Gonna say 89-71, Vols. Lady Vols also start the season @ Louisville. I think it's the Cards opening game in their new arena. Lady Vols, 82-58.

Well ODU is a fringe top 25 team .......... so it was a great test for Georgetown who opened up On THE ROAD in a hostile environment against an NCAA tournament team. Great poise shown by the Hoyas.
