Anybody know the money the Twins gave Nolasco? I'm thinking its 4 years but cant find the dollars.

4 yr deal at 13 mil a year...sounds about right so far this season but he will definately be their #1 and will be able to transition the younger guys. Good choice of a veteran pitcher.

Report out of KC ("Kings of Kaufman" site) ... saying that the Royals should deal some bullpen pieces to get Rick Porcello from the Tigers. The article specifically mentions Aaron Crow and Tim Collins, who have been made "available" on the trading block due to arbitration eligibility.

Like Okla State man? ok, I like Portachello a little bit more for that...but then again, never like Youk except 1 moment in BP at royals stadium when he had my buddy hold up a bucket while he was cleaning out balls in the fountain (he was the forman on the renovations)..he tossed up a ball and hit it from just behind 2nd base..my buddy, who hates sports, just had to move the bucket less than 6 inches and it went right in...it was pretty cool.

I am really getting a gut feeling that Cano's "camp" or Jay-Z is really in trouble...Cano was still be investigated for PED's and could still be suspended and now they have dropped for $310 million to $260 million and the Yanks still are holding at $160 million....

This really could be funny if Cano doesn't play this year out of "principle", Jay-Z needs to stick to music.

Nolasco is a good signing by the Twins, but let's be real... he is 31 this month and is a career 4.37 ERA pitcher in the NL (cashing in on a decent 3.70 mark last season). Porcello is 25 this month, and is a career 4.51 ERA pitcher in the AL. Not a whole lot of gap there. If Nolasco is a #1 starter in Minny, Porcello would be a #1A. The Twins are still in trouble if they are counting on Nolasco to carry them.
