Iowa St. every year guarantees at least one OOC P5 opponent every year ... that's on top of a 9 game conference schedule.
Unfortunately for the vast majority of those years ISU has acted as a MAC team, a MAC team that beats us half the time lol

I don't know, ask your pussy.

All you had to say is "I have nothing." The best teams clearly come from conferences that play 8 conference games. Natty trophies prove it too.

It’s nice to see WVU make a top 10 list and it not be about partying lol.

Yep...Every year they have to play the likes of Indiana, Minnesota, Northwestern, Rutgers,
Maryland, Purdue and Illinois.

If I was in the Big10, I'd do away with OOC games all together and play nothing but league
games.

There's 8 National Championships in that group.
And there was 14 in the list you named off. Minnesota nearly has as many as my list combined.

BYU counts as a power team now? Odd timing considering how bad they were last season.

That's why teams will count them.

Only Notre Dame is regarded as a Power 5 team. They have a path every year to the
playoffs and/or an elite bowl.

For Army and/or BYU to be invited to an elite bowl, a P5 league would have to give up
a spot. That ain't gonna happen.

Only the highest rated team of the "Group of 5 Conferences" gets an invite. The only
Independent with a path is Notre Dame. They are even guaranteed two spots in the
Orange Bowl over the 12 year period of the contract. (Record permitting)
