Here is the team

Projected starting lineup

QB- Kyler Murray
Rb- Joe Mixon
Rb- Aaron Jones
Wr- Davante Adams
Wr- Mike Williams
Te- OJ Howard
Flex- Kerryon Johnson
K- Jake Elliot
D- Chargers D

My WR2 is alil weak to start the year, I hope Mike Williams can turn into a viable option

Besides the WR 2 I like the roster alot.. I have 3 good PPR backs with my breakout TE in OJ Howard.. Disclaimer as well I view Kyler Murray as a top 10 QB with top 5 upside

Please let me know what you think? Be as harsh or friendly as you would like

Not sure how much I like your team...

your starting roster is fine... But I hate your bench, you have very little upside... especially at RB... and with the Kyler Murray gamble, I would have hoped you to have a better back up QB... As this seems to be a large bench league, I am sure there are not many QBs on the waivers...

I am just a huge believer in Kyler Murray.. Dual threat with a cannon arm and explosive legs..

In the last 10 years or so the elite dual threat QBs usually have very productive rookie fantasy seasons.

My Kyler Projections

3800 pass yards
650 rush yds

22 pass TDs
14 ints
8 rush TDs
2 fumbles

that is very good, but it still is a low end QB1 high end QB2 in a 12 team league... I have no problem with the gamble of using him as your QB1... Just think you need a better qb 2 in case things go bad... you will be very upset if you have to start Carr more than JUST THE BYE WEEK....

So here's my thing..first I will preface with, I'm no Murray believer. But, that's not at all based on his physical abilities, he has those in spades. My issues are, how many of those productive rookie dual threat QB's have also been productive with a rookie head coach implementing an unproven offensive system? That's first and foremost issue #1. #2 would be the horrid line..his many worked behind a line often referred to as one of the worst in the league? Then theres the typical concerns about each and every rookie QB, can they handle the mental side of it, can they read defenses, can they identify blitzes and pressures and adjust protection accordingly..and so on.

Now, as per your predictions, and I do believe they are firmly in the realm of realistic, albeit on the higher end given all the big "if's", as Spiller said, using a generic standard QB scoring, 6pt TDs, that's somewhere in the 21-23 points per week on average range (21.7 by my count and the " standard" system I referenced), which sticks him squarely in QB9-15ish range. Considering that its not quite best case scenario predictions, but pretty close, why take that sort of risk? If any of the its turn out to be a negative, those numbers might be way lower, but very little chance they're much, if at all higher. In a dynasty or a keeper, I totally get the risk. But I just don't see the point in a redraft, even if youre predictions are realized, you didn't really gain much, and likely had to draft him higher than a Rivers or Big Ben, or Cousins, or 5 other dudes who also produce 21-23 points per game on average.

Other than that, team looks pretty solid top to bottom

I'm not too big of a fan. I don't mind waiting on a QB, but I don't buy Murray putting up #s his rookie year. Could be wrong and it's obvious you like him, so I can't fault that. Also, not a big fan of OJ Howard. I like him, but he is being drafted as the 4th or 5th TE off the board and if I miss out on the top 3, I would rather wait until later in the draft and pick a better RB or WR in that spot to solidify that depth. If those two produce, though, you could be looking very nice. I really like Mike Williams as a breakout candidate, but would be a little worried with him as your number 2.

Did you take Jones/Kerryon in 3/4?

Nice upside plays alongside Mixon.

Mike Williams is tough to trust every week but you have some nice young guys who could get lots of action in their respective offenses in Pettis/Kirk.

I'm wondering what Foreman or Hines (as handcuffs to relevant owners) plus Pettis gets you....a "safer" WR2 likely.

Did you pass on Gurley at 9? Why? At 16?

Mack has injury history and Hines was catching tons of balls when he was out. He might still be a decent part of this offense.

Foreman you want to hold until Miller gets hurt. Texans haven't brought in anyone else worth a damn since they drafted Foreman.

I think the best of Gurley is behind him.. I see the Rams being very cautious with his touches especially later in the year.

I'd rather have Darrell in the mid rounds than Gurley with a 1st or 2nd

I have them side by side eachother for my rankings
I'd agree, Dalton with Green, Boyd, Ross, in a new, supposedly more wide open, "modern" offense likely at minimum evens out with Carr in the same system before but improved weapons

Think theres a difference between sleeping on him, and being hesitant to assume all those "ifs" I mentioned earlier all come up aces, which is the only way he's worth his draft spot..in a redraft.

Awful lot of trends and history to just ignore with the only real reward, since even best case scenario, he's not joining the elite tier, being able to say I "told you so" later.

Thats where I disagree with you Treff.. I think he has a chance to be an elite fantasy QB starting this year. To me he has Top 5 QB potential
