They're 17 games back for the 2nd Wild Card with ten teams ahead of them. If they make the playoffs, I will put my dick in a hotdog bun and eat it.

The playoffs are rife with crapshootidity. A case could be made that the Giants were the worst team in the playoffs in at least one of their three recent championships, yet, there they are.

The AL East, AL West, AL WC, NL WC, and NL West landscape could change significantly after the deadline based on remaining h2h and current injuries.

Too much BS to sift through to make a legit prediction. Some teams definitely should consider being aggressive or risk missing the playoffs, however. Texas, LA, HOU, Boston, and Toronto should be highly motivated buyers.

The Tigers will make no trades at the deadline. They have JD Martinez, Zimmerman and Norris coming back.
The Tigers will have to learn to beat the Cleveland Indians.
