OT: So I don't spend any real time on the SH main MLB page ( I don't like HD). But on Twitter, see a lot of non-Giants fans who absolutely hate Posey. Rip him every chance they get for ruining baseball/the home plate collision and putting it all on him.

Isn't that a flawed thing though? I mean Bochy, Sabean, Matheny among others pushed for it. Plus with the NFL's issue with CTE and concussions, that was going to be an issue for baseball at some point and when it happened, plate collisions would have been changed.

Yet Posey gets most of the blame for it. Why?

Hate say this about any game, but it was lost when Peavy was announced as the starter. At least that's how it feels. I didn't start watching on TV until now and I was started listening on the radio when Peavy was facing Aoki.in the top of the 2nd Was Peavy really terrible or was he really just snake-bitten, as Krukow said on the radio?

He looked good in the first. He was SCREWED on a called ball that was practically down the pipe, and that got into his head.

In the second, we was looking OK. He was hitting his spots pretty well, but he got BABIPed a few times, and then you could see in his eyes that he wanted to be anywhere but on the mound.

4 serious goats in this game...

1) Peavy. Enough said.

2) Bochy. Bringing in Petit with runners on. Wow. Rookie call, Boch. Horrible, horrible call.

3) Belt. I am OK with the "decision" play. It wasn't great, but it was defensible. His play since has been bad. Bad positioning, bad non-pick... He just doesn't want to be there.

4) Posey. Worst. AB. Ever.

I want to feel like this game is "just not our night", but I am not feeling like tomorrow with Huddy is looking much different. I am trying to stay positive, but this game is a joke.

Perhaps I should just watch the Lakers get tuned up by the Rockets. That will at least make me laugh.....

I'm stepping back because I know how this game can turn on a dime. A bad move here and there is bound to happen. We can throw up 7 runs in an inning just like they can or over a few innings. It's not over until the last out is made.

Damn, I hate thinking about how we might lose the World Series because we got too loyal to veteran starting pitchers who just can't get it done. I know he gave up 2 runs tonight, but Petit probably should've started one of the games in this series.
