So glad this lineup proved me wrong. I thought it was over. I was wrong
I have to be honest I thought it was over too. I was pissed and turned it off and back on and saw 4-2 and was like maybe there's hope.

Lol....I'd rather listen to paint dry.
Wow, third postseason win for Petit, while looking great each time out. After Bum, he's been our most impressive pitcher. Affeldt a close third, IMO. If we win tomorrow's game without using Petit, do you pencil him in as your Game 7 starter?

Well, there was a very simple solution...
Now we basically have to hope our bats win it.
I suppose it will be Bum 5, Peavy 6, Hudson 7 if necessary.
If I were Bochy, I wouldn't let Peavy or Hudson go more than 5.
LOL if Timmeh is our game 7 starter.
Bum could throw an inning or two of relief game 7 if need be, heck he could be a LOOGY.
For game 7 they could have every pitcher go 1 inning if they need to.
LOL, he's too good to be a LOOGY. I'd use him for 2 full innings. A third inning, too, if he tells me he can do it and we are not risking his health.
Yost REALLY fucked up not putting in Herrera with the game tied 4-4
High leverage situation, bring in one of your big guns.
I don't disagree, but he did ride Herrera hard the previous two games. If there was one thing good about the previous two games, it is that we got a lot of pitches out of Herrera. The next time he gets in the game, I hope we make him pay for his wildness.
Sure, but it will be just 2 days rest...so more than a couple of batters might be pushing it, who knows?
