This could be a Coors Field special at the China Basin.

I'm gonna predict that Mac-attack gets his first big league homer today.

Willie Mac award ceremony tonight. I actually don't know the winner, so I'll let myself be surprised.

That's a pretty bold prediction so early in the season. You really feel confident about this one?

Duffy was a good pick. He really embodies the spirit of the award, along the same thoughts of Dravecky. He is a kid who is 100% pure heart. He made the bigs completely based on hard work and has basically killed it since showing up. If that isn't the point of the award, I am not sure what is.

Congrats, kid!

Surprised at a few of the no-shows, as well as some of the guys who did show up.

Where is Kent? I thought he had some "Ambassador" position with the team now. That pretty much requires him to show up to these kinds of things.

I was surprised to see Robby. Isn't he in the Seattle front office? I am glad he showed up, though. He was one of the Humm-Babies that started the turn-around of the organization. He should be part of the org.

Just this season against the Giants, Arenado has a 1.454 OPS with 10 homers and 22 RBI in 65 ABs.

Can he give his brother some of his talent?
His bro can hit. That isn't the problem.

Unfortunately, he couldn't find his glove this year. Maybe Nolan can buy him a new one for Christmas.

I am reserving excitement over Parker, but he is making that a difficult errand.

Nolan has made some great plays at 3rd, no doubt, but he also has 17 errors for a .966 FA

Duffy has 12 errors (less games) and his FA is .964

So either Arenado is not quite the excellent fielder we thought, or Duffman is every bit the fielder that Arenado is, without the spectacular plays.

Spectacular plays ARE defense. Comparing players defense by looking at their FA is a very questionable strategy.

And this is why Parker is not a huge prospect...

FA does take into account all plays, some routine, some harder. Players like Arenado get to more balls than most other 3B, so his chances of making an error are higher. And making a Must C clip higher as well.

Not sure about that. Which Arenado is which (both numbers at age 20)?

Brother #1 - .264/.293/.367
Brother #2 - .298/.349/.487
