Sanheim, Morin, Myers, and probably Hart too, all 'suffered' a bit from this rule IMO. Could probably argue for Provorov too.

Next year he won't be AHL eligible yet so it'll be OHL or the Flyers. As you guys have mentioned, odds seem to be on the OHL for one more year unless he really bulks up this summer.

Wasn't this the same with TK or was he AHL eligible when he made the team? I think they even said the same thing, then he did add some bulk over the summer and made the team.

Happy Monday! Just saw the movie Avengers: Infinity War yesterday with my son yesterday. The movie was awesome. This is the best one of the marvel series imo if you like the comics.

It was an amazing film. The theater was crowded. So I take Jr with me and ask him what snack and drink he wanted so I get him a snack and he tells me he wasn't thirsty. Keep in mind the movie is almost 3 hrs long. I get myself popcorn and a monster size soda to drink. LMAO, Jr drank my entire drink and left me the melted ice. Unreal. His mother will kill me if she finds out all the shit he drank and snacked on while she was gone for 1 night, lol. I was exhausted from my whitewater rafting trip from earlier and did not want to cook shit.

Yep. Konecny was in a very similar boat and was not AHL eligible last year when he made the Flyers.

Konecny is still tiny though. I think they'd be more concerned about Frost, who they project as a C, being that lanky in the NHL. Frost is the same weight as Konecny, but 2" taller. Needs to get that center of gravity down!

But Neuvy, how many times have the chips been down and he comes up lame??? Neuvy has the durability of a cracked window. Bring on Lyons or Stolarz.....

Frost had 3 points last night and his team is going to the AHL finals.

Frost kinda reminds me of Marner in Toronto. If he has the skills and speed he can make it next year. All depends on what the Flyers intend on doing and if they want to bring free agents in.

Lots of options either way for this team.

Other kids are knocking at the door as well. Shusko, strome etc

Hart also had 53 PIM this year, that seems to be rising every year with his offensive play, could be he may not be as soft as some may think(Wish I knew how many for what?). Konecny is a good example of a little skill guy with heart, Maybe he bulks up a little over the next 2 seasons but would like to see him on this team if he can make it

Says he will be 20 by the time next season starts so that AHL eligible. Apparently you have to turn 20 by December 31 to be AHL eligible.

Nope. Flyers or Phantoms next year for Hart. He's a year older than Frost so he's AHL eligible.

I think technically they could send him back to juniors for an "overage" year, but they won't do that.

I like Grabner for the right price too. Good PK'er, adds the threat of a SHG, speed to burn. He really struggled in New Jersey though, hopefully that sucks his value down a little bit and they can get him on a smart contract. Something like 2 years @ 2-2.5 mil would be good I think.

If you think he really struggled with the Devils ive got a stat for you. Grabner had 5 points in 21 games for the Devils and the Flyers penalty killer Lehtera had 8 points in 62 games.

Its crazy how come playoff time our goalies are always hurt the last 5-8 years.
