Also if he has questions about anyone, he has the connections with the Phantoms to get the inside track.

The D, I think anyone is a step up. When Hart first started in net the D was amazing, just to protect Hart. But I think when they saw how good Hart was they got slack big time on D. It has exposed the few weaknesses Hart has and its bullshit.

I’m not opposed to Gordon, but I hope they swing for the fences. I’m hoping for Q.

I brought this up a couple of times in the past. I'm ok with Gordon or going all in on Joel Q. Living in Sabres country, my thinking they may get rid of Housley and they will go after either Gordon or Joel Q. Pegulla was interviewed earlier in the season going on record saying Housley's job is safe, but damn, they are seriously underachieving with that roster. I have to think they would approach either one of our guys at seasons end? I mean Eichel nearly exploded after his post game interview with reporters. That team is more dysfunctional than we ever were even with Hakstol.

I'm kind of with you. I think the big part of success is just having Hart being the wall that he is.

So this Carter Hart kid is pretty good. How good? I would say ice in his veins and a future Vezina and probably more hardware in the works. For him to steal this game and shutting down the Leafs elite in a shootout, wow.

Yup. I agree and knowing that Fletcher will make some off-season moves and with the draft coming up, I want Fletcher to be like Howie Roseman and be aggressive both draft and FA. I also wouldn't mind going all in on Joel Q and see what he can do with this roster ready to turn the page.

Yes he is pretty good and wise beyond his years but I dont care about the i only want his name on the Stanley Cup.

Excellent observation. Why does he have to stop 40 plus shots per game? That takes its toll over the course of a full season.
