Jake isn't a real big dude, but he has that crazed look like he can throw like a Tasmanian devil.

Deuce may be scrappy but he is a middle weight and these guys would crush him.

Scott Mayfield has 4 fights this season and Matt Martin has 2. I don't think it's worth worrying about honestly.

Hopefully you're referring to the Islanders in general. Because Martin and Mayfield don't have a game to get them off of. They're bad at hockey.

Well if Deuce pisses them off, they will be more into getting after him and leaving Jake alone....So maybe that game

But they weren't playing against another player who took a head shot against their teammate most games this season

I think the Isles will be far more concerned with winning the game than they were when it was 5-1 in the 3rd period and Voracek laid that hit. That game was over, they could spend time trying to send a message.

This one will start 0-0 and the Isles will be doing what they can to try to avoid playing the Caps/Pens in the 1st round. Not sending a message to a team 6 points out of the playoffs.

Or at least, if I were an Islanders fan that's what I'd be hoping they do. I'd be pissed if they ran around trying to get even with Voracek and took a bunch of penalties doing it. As a Flyers fan, I say let em do it. Score some PP goals and make it an easy 2 points.

On paper, that's one of the 'easiest' games the Isles have remaining. They'll be focused on the points.

A lot of bad play tonight, where was the urgency? This is the stuff they were doing at the first of the year. Also Hart was again awesome and really kept the team in it. Sad to waste that effort.

Always one of the issues of taking the first half of the season off. It's nearly impossible to bring it every night from January to April. The margin for error demands it, but it's just not a realistic expectation.

I agree, I think that one is the dagger. 6 behind Columbus (7 with ROW) and 5 behind Montreal (6 with ROW). Only 9 games left. Even if the Flyers go 9-0-0, they would need Columbus to go 5-3-1 and Montreal to go 6-4-0.
