I truly hope that we get to see a lot of our prospects this second half, I really want to see who is good on the ice versus who is good on paper. Do we have anybody lurking that may have a tough guy streak? We seem to be missing that from our line up as well.

From what I have been reading, Myers has played pretty good this year and has been the best dman on the Phantoms.

Well I hope he gets called up for some time on the big club, be nice get some of them some reps and used to what they'll be seeing in the NHL.

Not only do we not have anyone with a tough guy streak we are trading Simmer. But im not worried JVR can pick up the slack in that department.

It depends on who gets moved by the dead line as to how many of the young guns get the call up for the second half. id really like to see at the very least Meyers. Vorobyev came up today. Id like to see Justin Bailey who we traded Leier for he is 6'4" 214 pounds, maybe get some 4th line minutes

Morin does. He rag dolled quite a few people in juniors and has fought a good bit in the AHL too. Even though I'm not that high on him, he's probably the guy I want to see get some Flyers reps more than anyone. Let's see if he can hack it as an NHL dman.

There is a great article on Jack Hughes on CSNPhilly.com, recommend reading it. Man I'm all about getting this kid. Whoever gets him, they will a great center for years to come. For me, it's his much needed speed and skill set that I think we really need. Can only imagine adding his talent with G and Patrick on our team. I can only dream. Can this be out year of getting the first pick? We shall see? I'm another note, fuck the Sens and Avs.

Years ago this guy was supposed to be our pronger replacement. He has been so injured at this point i think you are right in that bring him up and see if he's worth investing time/energy into anymore.
