in all the interviews ive heard today, hawks sound more upset by the lack of suspension than by the fact they are down 3 games to zip

and THAT's why Torres needs to be in the lineup for game 4.

I think it's easy to forget that the Hawks are a young team and their captain (while a great player) is a young guy as well. They didn't face much adversity in their Cup run last season and as we all know, you learn a lot more from your failures than your successes.

I hope the Canucks sweep them because you are right. From what I can gather about Toews this will having working ridicoulously hard all summer. He is the most driven player I've ever seen in a Chicago uniform not named Michael Jordan.

its not that Q. its the fact that it will help us in any matter to have him in for the hawks maybe gunning for him. I guess you take all the advantage you can and not let them off the ropes at all.

I also think the canucks STILL need to play better. they must clean up the PK and the discipline.

Thats true, but at the same time it would not ssurprise me if the hawks go dirty. What do they have to lose, a suspension to start next year? I could see John Scott making some questionable hits tomorrow.

- our strategy was VERY clear coming into the series. Hit hard, and hit often. Raffi is doing that. to take him out voluntarily sends a mixed message.
- Raffi is a more effective player than whoever would replace him
- If Scott goes nutso, I'd rather have it targeted at raffi than someone more critical for us.
- you KNOW Seabrook will tread a little lightly if #13 is out there forechecking. We saw that with Kane after Edler's hit.

so then he credited with the penalty hit and the second one that took out seabrook. the first penalty he took wasnt even a hit although he got called for another penalty... sigh
