Also on Kerr for not mitigating that "strategy".
Agreed. Kerr takes some of the blame for fooling around with the rotations early as well which got a hot Warrior team out of synch. There was way to much Nick Young, Kevon Looney and Jordan Bell out there together for too long. It allowed the Rockets to come back.

sometmes i wonder what guys like that are doing on the team

i realize you want to try and develop guys--- but veteran min. guys that have seen the battle and can give you a good 10 minutes would seem to be a lot better than freaking Kevin Looney or a lunatic like Nick Young or someone with as little experiene as Jordan Bell.

id much rather have Jeff Green and his vet. min than any of those guys.

Nope. The posts are all here, we know your bullshit. Keep trying though this is how I amuse myself after a tough loss.
Its killing you that I was right again, isn't it? So the second part of my prediction of the Rockets in 7 is next. This series is over.
I told you the Warriors would get lazy and lackadaisical for periods in the game; that was an easy one; it always happens. What surprised me though was the lack of poise in the 4th when Curry and Durant went complete iso every time they had the ball. No movement, no involvement for the other players. I'll bet neither guy had an assist in the last half of the quarter. That I did not expect.

They have to have those guys because of the cap and the fact that the big 4 take up most of that space. I'd have liked to see David West in there a little more.

Yet interestingly enough GS has gotten just about the same, if not better, production from their guys than the Cavs have gotten out of Jeff Green/JR Smith.

A "championship team", a team with Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green scores 12 points in the entire 4th quarter; 12!

The Warriors are extremely lacking at the wing position. Considering how often you play Durant at the PF position in this series, he's basically a front court player. Both Iguodala and McCaw are injured. That leaves you with Livingston, Quinn Cook and Nick Young. Slim pickings. Looney and Bell are out there, out of necessity more than anything else.

Oh and Casspi was supposed to be our Vet Minimum steal this year. He turned out to be pretty trash. Lots of things working against the Warriors bench depth this year. But it's also arguable that they put themselves in this hole too.

Jr makes 13.7M this year....next year is his last really "guaranteed" year---- at 14.7M

the following year he is scheduled to make 15.7M but that is partially guaranteed to the tune of only like 3-4 million i think....so he is basically on an expiring contract next year...for the most part anyway.

Casspi was pretty good the year before.

Casspi for some reason refused to shoot 3's, which is what the Warriors brought him on for. He wasn't producing at all and was struggling to get playing time.

Pachulia is pretty much rendered useless against small lineups. The Rockets would cook him worse than Bell or Looney. Bell and Looney are far superior that aspect.

He's averaging 8 pts, 2 rebounds, & 1 steal. 69% F/T shooting & is only making 37% of his 3's. All for $13M, which increases over the next two seasons. What a steal...

For JR. :dhd:

I was so glad he took Pachulia out of the line up all together. I just knew he would eventually take out another one of his own team mates.
