Provided that Dallas closes out their series unscathed (and Lively returns without issue) they would be the toughest (and healthiest) team that the Celts have faced thus far. With Kleber back, even more so.

Those Gafford and PJ acquisitions have really solidified the roster. Will any of this matter vs Boston? Will be interesting to see, along with Porzingis' eventual return.

Totally agree.

But that isn’t saying a lot.

Boston faced an 8 seed without its best player for most of the series, a 4 seed without its most important big and without its best player for 2 games, and a 6th seed that got their because they beat 2 teams with severe injury issues of their own, then lost their best player halfway through the series.

This doesn’t take a thing away from Boston, because it isn’t there fault.

But I don’t think I have ever seen a team with an easier path to the finals.

If only this common sense made its way to your political positions. Hard to square up the bolded with your lionizing of Trump.

But let's not get into politics here...

That last line, yeah, humanity is kind of lame but it's the only game in town.

Not sure you remember how weak the East was when the Nets and 76ers made it in the 00's

Yep that’s the difference. It’s not weak just because rosters are bad. It is weak this year because everyone decided to get injured in the east
Agreed. There are always injuries, but it isn't usually everyone's key players

Rubio and DeSantis were my picks for 2016 and now.....

And I also like my own money.

The Pacers played tough every game but couldn't get over the hump. I think losing that first game when they had the ball and a 3-point lead with 10 seconds left was just too much for them
