Wood is definitely not a pitcher used to coming in the game with traffic on the bases. He pulled a full on Cory Gearrin there.

The way things are these days, the Giants probably have a small fleet of hitting coaches, co-head hitting coaches, assistant hitting coaches, junior assistant hitting coaches, secretary to the associate hitting coaches, etc.

I am good with giving him 4-5 starts a week for the rest of the season. We kinda have to know if he is worth keeping around moving forward.
