Right now I am loving I traded him for Sano and Giolito last season... Granted Giolito has done jack but still
Yeah, "Right Now" after you yelled at me all season last year for advising you to jump on that deal

Always grab a potential everyday stud for a once every 5 day pitcher not named Kershaw
Yeah well of course they'll ask for that. This offseason I would say Sale and Quintana had the most trade value while being on a team that wasn't planning on contending.Yeah, I hear ya, but the "Ace" type package they are seeking for him, Ive never seen him as that guy......All reports indicated they were asking the Yankees for basically the equivalent of what they got for Sale, which meant Torres +........Im just glad he isnt sporting a 6ERA in the Bronx

Yeah it has to take some sort of hit. I'll be curious if teams like the Rockies are going to feel they are real contenders going forward (and therefore willing to give up more to get a guy for 3+ years) or they feel this is a flash in the pan opportunity (and therefore go for a cheaper veteran option as a rental). That could be the difference between giving up a bunch for Quintana and mortgaging a bit of the future, or giving up less to get a guy like Jason Vargas.Have to wonder what type of hit, if any, his poor season will take on the trade market...Quintana and maybe Cole will be in hot demand, be interesting to see if teams have concerns with Quintana or just see him as a change of scenery guy
Do you guys think the Rockies and dbacks are here to stay?
I think they'll level out. They aren't going to be 96-99 win teams this year like they are on pace for. I wouldn't be surprised at all, however, if they were the two wildcard teams in the NL. If I had to put my money on one, it would be the Diamondbacks. Just feel that Grienke, Ray, and Walker are better bets than Senzatela, Freeland, and MarquezDo you guys think the Rockies and dbacks are here to stay?

I wish I played with more people who thought like that. I'd win a lot more money.
What does being an everyday stud have to do with anything? Doesn't matter if you only pitch once every five days. That same set of rules applies to every starter. Your pitching categories count for just as many points as your hitting categories do.
An everyday stud hitter can't help you with your pitching categories.
