The Blue Jays scare me
Yes, yes, cower in fear or some such
They might not even stop at fourth place, may even head on up to third
Flashbacks of Luis Castillo at Citi last night
Yeah, Howie was going on and on about it during the radio broadcast. At least they actually won this game but the extra innings pitched can't be good for an already-overworked bullpen.
I hate to say I expect them to be fine...If you look at the teams ahead of them (Nationals aside), I think there are a lotta pretenders there.......They should get healthy, than get fat off some horrible NL teams...But June could be tricky, their schedule in June is their toughest month
I don't worry about the offense too much. They'll be streaky but overall I think they can outscore most NL teams - just need the pitching to get healthy. Not having Syndergaard and Familia sucks, and we never know what Harvey's gonna do. Wheeler has been a pleasant surprise, I expected him to struggle way worse.
I mean he's obviously having a horrible stretch, but he has 4 straight seasons prior to this of 200 innings and a 3.20-3.51 ERA. Add in the 3 more years at team friendly contracts through his age 31 season, and you can understand the trade value I'm sure.Ummm, let me be the first to say the White Sox can keep Jose Quintana and his close to 6.00 ERA
The hype with that guy is unreal, and undeserved
And Brett Gardner is on steroids

If Matz and Lugo return, the rotation should get by, but that BP wont survive as is IMO
You won't be scared after we take 3 of 4 in Toronto this weekend
Matz...is soft. I don't trust him to stay healthy for more than a month.
But where are my manners? We're not talking about the Yankees at all
